Abstract

This study explores the implementation and outcomes of the TechnoVIT 2024 program, hosted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Chennai, India, which focused on sustainable technology through Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Robotics. The program aimed to enhance participants' understanding of modern technologies and their application in sustainability, particularly in energy efficiency, waste management, and electric vehicles. Through a combination of intensive classes, workshops, and a hackathon, participants from various countries, including Indonesia, engaged in project-based learning to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges. The results indicate significant improvements in participants' technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cross-cultural collaboration. Key findings highlight the effectiveness of project-based learning in fostering practical knowledge and the importance of international collaboration in addressing global sustainability issues. The program also provided valuable cultural experiences, enhancing participants' adaptability and global perspectives. This study underscores the potential of international academic programs in preparing students for future technological and environmental challenges.
