Design of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Learning Media Development for Mawaris Material Based on Flip Book and Educandy Using Problem Based Learning

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media in the form of digital flipbooks with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach that supports learning according to constructivism theory through two-way interaction. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: needs Analysis, media design, development with expert testing, Implementation, and evaluation to measure the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the media.The results showed that the flip book media received validation from material experts of 92% and media experts of 90%, both of which were in the "very valid" category. Implement in three high schools showed an increase in learning outcomes based on the Wilcoxon test (Asymp. Sig. 0.000 <0.05) and the Mann-Whitney test which showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. The N-gain test showed an increase in the moderate to high category with an average of 0.6 to 0.9. In addition, the feasibility questionnaire scored 88%, which was classified as "very interesting".This study concludes that the development of flip book media based on PBM has a positive impact on Islamic Religious Education learning, especially on the Mawaris material, and increases the effectiveness and attractiveness of the learning process.
