  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

General Organization of the Paper

World of Immersive Learning (WIRL) is an open-access journal that applies a double-blind peer review process. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous during the review process.

Manuscript Structure

Title

  • Font: Times New Roman, 16 pt, bold
  • Format: Capitalize Each Word, center-aligned
  • Example: Development of Science Learning Media

Authors and Affiliations

  • Author Names: Times New Roman, 10 pt, bold, center-aligned
  • Affiliations: Include department, faculty, university, city, postal code, and country (Arial, 12 pt, left-aligned)
  • Email Addresses: Times New Roman, 8 pt, center-aligned
  • Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*)

Changes to Authorship

Requests for adding, removing, or rearranging authors must be submitted by the corresponding author and include:

  • The reason for the change
  • Written confirmation from all authors

Before publication, processing will be suspended until agreement is reached. After publication, changes will be issued through a corrigendum.

Abstract

  • One paragraph, 100–200 words
  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, italic, justified
  • Must be self-contained and clearly present:
    • Research problem
    • Method/approach
    • Key findings
    • Conclusions

Avoid references unless necessary.

Keywords: 3–7 words or phrases

Main Sections of the Manuscript

INTRODUCTION

  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, bold, uppercase
  • Provide background, research objectives, and research gap
  • Avoid excessive literature review

Note:

  • Confirmation of submission is sent within two weeks
  • Peer review involves at least two reviewers
  • Review process typically takes 1–2 months

RESEARCH METHOD

  • Explain research design, methods, and procedures
  • Justify the chosen methodology
  • Enable reproducibility and critical evaluation

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

  • Present findings clearly and systematically
  • Interpret results in relation to theory and previous studies
  • Highlight new insights and contributions

Tables and Figures:

  • Tables: Title above, numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1)
  • Figures: Caption below, numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1)
  • Each table/figure should fit within one page (max. 2/3 page size)

Tables

  • Centered on the page
  • Title above the table
  • Font: 10 pt, headings in bold
  • Use horizontal lines only (no vertical lines)

Figures

  • Clear and legible
  • Black & white or color allowed
  • Caption below the figure
  • Acceptable formats: BMP, WMF, EPS, Microsoft Graph/Draw

CONCLUSION

  • Summarize key findings
  • Ensure consistency with research objectives
  • Include implications and future research directions
