World of Immersive Learning (WIRL) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All articles published in WIRL are:
- Freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or payment
- Available for reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing, searching, or linking to the full texts
- Accessible without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author
This policy is in accordance with the principles of open access as defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

All published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.
This license permits:

Author Rights
Authors retain full copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
