Archiving Policy
World of Immersive Learning (WIRL) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. The journal implements archiving strategies to safeguard its digital content and guarantee continued access for the academic community.
All published content is stored and maintained in the journal’s online system. The journal utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports digital preservation through secure and reliable storage.
To ensure long-term availability, WIRL supports archiving through:
- Institutional repositories and library systems
- Author self-archiving in personal or institutional repositories
- Backup systems managed by the journal and publisher
Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their manuscripts, including preprints, accepted manuscripts, and published versions, in institutional or subject-based repositories, provided proper acknowledgment of the original publication in WIRL is included.
The journal encourages the use of persistent identifiers such as DOIs to ensure stable and permanent access to published articles.
In the event that the journal ceases publication, all published content will remain accessible through archived systems to ensure continued availability and preservation of scholarly work.
